Message from our Mehfil & Bhajan Team:

On behalf of the Mehfil & Bhajan committee we welcome you to 49th annual OSA convention 2018 "Bridging Generations, Celebrating Odia unity".
We are committed to providing all generations of participating members the best and most unique Mehfil experience here in Detroit. Don’t miss this opportunity and be a part of this great event, while making memories to cherish forever.
Let’s have  - “Great time together”

Our goals and efforts are directed towards providing you quality, casual entertainment in a relaxed atmosphere.

We have added varieties of programs to encourage participation from all age groups and cater to their unique taste. We strive to make your participation experience as efficient as possible and hope to make this enjoyable for everyone!  Are you registering on the day of the convention? No problem. You can still participate! We are making a sincere effort to include everyone within the time allotted.

We are proud to incorporate a unique blend of individual and group performances by our members, as well as professional artists from Odisha. Performances will include old and new songs (Odia and Hindi), standup comedy, and a few surprise items from our host chapter members. The Mehfil committee is dedicated to entertaining you and keep you engaged. We encourage you to be an active audience and please don’t hesitate to interact, whether it is a song request to our professional artists to perform just for you, play trivia with us using cell phone apps, or be part of ongoing raffles. Are you a party lover? Our dance floor is open for you every night and live music to pump it up. Trust me, it will be worth staying up late.

We are creating a unique ambiance with spacious facilities with a comfortable seating arrangement, where you can relax and listen to state of the art music system without interruptions and enjoy dynamic digital lighting, high tech audio visual reinforcement. We have a huge stage for performers, and a humongous dance floor to accommodate all the dancing feet. Don’t hesitate to have a drink from the bar at the lobby area or enjoy our hot, delicious tea or coffee with late night snacks.

This is all possible with your presence and active participation.  Our team is highly motivated and enthusiastically engaged to bring you a quality program to create a life time experience.

Looking forward to entertaining you all.
Let’s have- “Great time together”
